As a HAZMAT Technician, EMT, and ECO/EMD working for DHHS/NDMS/ NJ1-DMAT and also the Passaic County Sheriff's Department, I send to you all my sincerest condolences, and support. Having the honor and privilege to work with the military and law enforcement, I am writing to offer you all my support during this difficult time. It is difficult enough to know you have people and ideologies you must fight on the outside without having to experience the bitterness of a betrayal from within. It will take time to heal - mostly the internal trust and security you had. While it has been irrevocably changed, I hope it heightens your awareness and makes you appreciate those closest to you even more. For all of us who are far from you, know you and your families are held close in our hearts. I'll be here to support you in whatever way I can. Sincerely and Respectfully, Megan Pioch Elmwood Park, NJ

My heart goes out to the families of the victims of this tragedy. As a military wife of 20 years, I have seen my husband deployed to numerous assignments over seas and always assumed he was safe once he returned and was on post. No one would assume one of our own would turn against fellow Americans in this way. In the weeks ahead grief will turn to anger and hatred toward the perpetrator. Know that justice will be sure and swift against the individual and that every American supports you and your loved ones. God Bless you. Linda Kiltz

My thoughts and prayers are with all the families that this tragedy has touched...I live and work on a remote Naval Detachment in the islands and I couldn't have felt closer as I watch this reality unravel last week. Please accept my sincerest condolences...
